<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pressure loss sensitivity by significantly changing a pressure loss even if there is a slight change in the amount of PM (Particulate Matter) deposited. <P>SOLUTION: An inflow-side cell is composed of at least two kinds of a small inflow-side cell 12 having a small opening area and a large inflow-side cell 13 having an opening area larger than the small inflow-side cell 12. In an intermediate stage of use, the pressure loss is gradually increased if PM is deposited on the small inflow-side cell 11 and large inflow-side cell 13. However, if the PM is deposited by a predetermine amount or more in a latter stage of use, the pressure loss in the small inflow-side cell 12 is firstly increased, and the pressure loss is suddenly increased also as a whole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
