PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which improves convenience and safety, and to provide an image-forming device and a program therefor. SOLUTION: A fixation device 48 is controlled so that a body 20C may be fixed at a covering position. Further, the fixation device 48 is controlled so that the fixation by the fixation device 48 may be released in case that a detection part 54 detects a temperature, which is equal to a second temperature or lower, after it detects a temperature which is equal to a first temperature or higher, in a state in which a fixing operation by a flash lamp 20A is finished, and in case that the detection part 54 does not detect a temperature, which is equal to the first temperature or higher, in the state in which the fixing operation by the flash lamp 20A is finished and a preliminarily determined period of time passes after the fixing operation by the flash lamp 20A is finished.
