<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire reducing power consumption, increasing service life and suppressing a reduction in illuminance of a peripheral part to unify the illuminance as compared with a fluorescent light. <P>SOLUTION: The luminaire includes a light source with a plurality of LED (Light Emitting Diode) light sources arranged in a line or a plurality of lines and a semi-cylindrical optical member deflecting and penetrating light beams from the light source.
