摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a honeycomb structure catalyst for cleaning an exhaust gas, which can clean a harmful component stably for long periods even in an actually used temperature environment. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises manufacturing the exhaust gas-cleaning catalyst 1 having a substrate 2, a supporting layer 3 comprising a metal oxide formed on the surface, and a catalyst 4 comprising the metal oxide or metal supported by it by carrying out a supporting layer forming process and a catalyst supporting process. In the supporting layer forming process, the supporting layer 3 is formed on the surface of the substrate 2. In the catalyst supporting process, the substrate 2 in which the supporting layer 3 is formed is immersed in a catalyst slurry formed by dispersing the catalyst in a solvent, and the catalyst 4 is supported on the supporting layer 3 by irradiation of the slurry with ultrasonic waves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
