An optical glass includes a substance A generating light of a wavelength λ2 when irradiated with light of a wavelength λ1 and a substance B generating light of a wavelength λ3 when irradiated with light of the wavelength λ1 in the case where the relation between the wavelength λ1, the wavelength λ2, and the wavelength λ3 is assumed to be λ1<λ2<λ3 with respect to a 100% of basic glass composition containing at least, 2-20% SiO2, 5-45% B2O3, and 10-29% La2O3, by weight, or with respect to a 100% of basic glass composition containing; at least, 2-20% SiO2, 5-45% B2O3, 10-29% La2O3, 0-45% RO (R=Zn, Sr, Ba), 0-10% Ln2O3 (Ln=Y, Gd), and 1-20% total of ZrO2+Nb2O5+TiO2+Ta2O5, by weight.
