<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device enabling appropriate temperature adjustment of an arc tube. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device 2 has the arc tube 11 with a light-emitting part 15 to emit light, a first sealing part 16 integrally installed on one side of the light-emitting part and a second sealing part 17 integrally installed on the other side of the light-emitting part, a sub-reflecting mirror 13 which covers part of the surrounding of the light-emitting part and reflects the light emitted from the light-emitting part, the main reflecting mirror 12 to reflect the light emitted from the light-emitting part and the light reflected by the sub-reflecting mirror, and a nozzle 14 in order to make air flow between the sub-reflecting mirror and the light-emitting part by passing through air inside.
