PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer, capable of using differently a system for discriminating only measuring items and a system for discriminating not only measuring items but also reaction lines together, in the optimally suitable way, corresponding to each processing step. SOLUTION: In the automatic analyzer including a plurality of systems of reaction lines capable of measuring an optional measuring item in order to analyze a component of a sample, a measurement result measured by using the plurality of systems of reaction lines is outputted by applying thereto a processing for discriminating the reaction lines according to the state, or outputted by applying thereto a processing not discriminating the reaction lines. It can be used differently in suitable way corresponding to various processings, as to whether only the measuring items are to be discriminated or the measuring items are to be discriminated, together with the reaction lines.
