The radar device (2) is provided with the electromagnetic waves that are guided along plasma generated in the atmosphere. The plasma is generated by a laser beam (4) of high intensity or photon energy. Two pipes and a funnel are provided for guiding the electromagnetic waves on a single, orthogonal to the propagation direction narrowly defined electrically conductive structure.
