<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve properties of a rudder stock for a rudder for a water vehicle and, especially, to provide the rudder stock of which weight is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In the rudder stock 40 for the rudder 100 for the water vehicle, at least the lower end part 42 of the rudder stock 40 to be inserted into the rudder 100 and mounted in the rudder includes a non-metallic material, especially, a fiber composite material.
