PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital data receiver capable of optimizing the switching of audio data in a plurality of kinds of receiving services depending on a situation. SOLUTION: The digital data receiver (100) includes: a first audio data generating section (51) for outputting first audio data related to a first service from broadcast waves of a specific channel; a second audio data generating section (52) for outputting second audio data related to a second service from the broadcast waves of the specific channel; a switching section (70) for performing switching processing for outputting either the first and second audio data; and a control section (90) for controlling the switching section so that the respective audio levels of the first and second audio data can be varied where the control section (90) changes a switching processing period for switching processing in the switching section (70) in accordance with a program content of the specific channel.
