PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication terminal for notifying a user of a reason why a connection of an authentication requesting terminal is not authenticated, without interrupting communication with another wireless communication terminal, which is authentication-requested from the authentication requesting terminal and is being connected already, in a wireless network formed in an ad-hoc mode. SOLUTION: A wireless communication terminal 100 includes a wireless communication unit 102, a detection unit 110 and a control unit 110. The wireless communication unit 102 wirelessly communicates with another communication terminal 300 or 400 that belongs to a wireless network 1 and a wireless communication terminal 200 which does not belong to the wireless network 1. The detection unit 110 detects a trigger. The control unit 110 determines whether or not the wireless communication unit is in a busy state with the other wireless communication terminal 300 or 400, and controls the wireless communication unit 102 to prohibit transmission of a positive response to a connection request directed to the wireless network from the wireless communication terminal 200 which does not belong to the wireless network 1, upon detection of the trigger when determining that the wireless communication unit is in the busy state with the other wireless communication terminal 300 or 400.
