PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the use of compounds that enhance 5-hydroxytryptamine 1a receptor activity, or activation (e.g. a selective 5-hydroxytryptamine 1a receptor agonists) for preventing or reducing movement fluctuations associated with dopamine replacement therapy.

SOLUTION: There is provided the use of the compound enhancing the 5-hydroxytryptamine 1a receptor activity, or activation for producing pharmaceuticals for preventing or reducing movement fluctuations associated with dopamine replacement therapy.
