PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing construction method and a reinforcing metal fitting for a support bolt, which can facilitate its construction and surely form a heat insulating layer, in a construction method for an outside heat insulation of a building. SOLUTION: The reinforcing metal fitting (27) includes: a head part (33) for inserting the support bolt (22), which protrudes from a building frame wall, through; and leg parts (34) extending from the head part (33) so that their front ends abut on the building frame wall (21). After a heat insulating material (23) is laid onto the surface of the building frame wall (21) by passing the support bolt (22) through from an outdoor side, the support bolt (22) is reinforced with the reinforcing metal fitting (27) from the outdoor side of the laid heat insulating material (23). The reinforcing metal fitting (27) allows the leg parts (34) to go into the heat insulating material (23), and allows the support bolt (22) to penetrate the head part (33). Subsequently, a fastening nut (42) is threadedly attached to the protruding part of the support bolt (22) so as to fasten the head part (33), thereby fixing the reinforcing metal fitting (27).
