<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for improving a seal between a combustion chamber and the piston lower side particularly near the piston top dead center, and to always automatically attain an optimal seal between a piston head and an anti-polishing ring near the piston top dead center, regardless of an operation state and an abrasion state of a related component, by reducing gas pressure acting on a piston ring package in operation. <P>SOLUTION: A scraping device 5 and the piston head 23 are constituted and mutually arranged so that they are mutually inclined at least partially at a settable angleαat the stopping temperature, and thus, when the piston head 23 cooperates with the scraping device 5 near the top dead center OT, reduction in the gas pressure P acting on the piston ring package 22 is automatically adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
