PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disperse and transmit the load to the input of a large load generated during a rear-end collision, and to enhance the energy absorption efficiency by constructing a load transmission path in which any space is formed. SOLUTION: In a vehicle body rear structure 10, torsion beams 17 are oscillatingly provided on front parts 15a, 16a of right and left rear frames 15, 16, and a spare tire pan 19 for storing a spare tire 47 is provided on the right and left rear frames 15, 16 behind a front floor 18. Floor frames 31, 32 extending in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body are added to a lower part of the front floor 18, and center frames 35, 36 extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body are provided on a bottom 49 of the spare tire pan 19. Rear ends of the floor frames 31, 32 and front ends of the center frames 35, 36 are coupled with each other by assembly type reinforcing bars 43, 44, and a load transmission path for transmitting the rear-end collision load forward of the vehicle body during the rear-end collision is formed below the rear frames 15, 16.
