PURPOSE: A method and a system for sharing content between devices based on a home network are provided to process other data format on one home network, thereby effectively sharing content between devices of different communication interfaces. CONSTITUTION: A control server(50) transmits shared content information of a plurality of MGW through a plurality of MGW to a plurality of devices(10a,10b). If a share request of a specific content within the sharing content information is received from a specific device, the control server receives the specific content from a content providing server or device of another MGW. The control server transmits the specific content to the specific device through a specific MGW.
