FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fabrication of abrasive articles. It comprises assemblage of abrasive particles and pitch cross-bonded by polythiol compound. Proposed method comprises bringing said assemblage of abrasive particles in contact with solidified composition that comprises pitch and polythiol composition to produce abrasive article. Method of grinding working surface comprises applying abrasive article to working surface to remove a part of it. Cross-bonded composition comprises aldehyde pitch and polythiol composition. Aldehyde pitch is cross-bonded by polythiol composition.
