METHOD FOR RECOVERING POLYHYDRIC PHENOL FROM POLYHYDRIC PHENOL-CONTAINING LIQUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering a polyhydric phenol, by which a polyhydric phenol can be selectively recovered from a polyhydric phenol-containing liquid such as a fermented liquid and a fruit waste liquid. SOLUTION: The method for recovering a polyhydric phenol from a polyhydric phenol-containing liquid includes: an electrodeposition step of depositing a polyhydric phenol on a conductive electrodeposition base; and a separation step of separating the polyhydric phenol deposited on the conductive electrodeposition base. The method is characterized by use of a conductive carbon base as the conductive electrodeposition base and by deposition of a polyhydric phenol under an alkaline condition. The method preferably includes a purification step of purifying the polyhydric phenol separated in the separation step. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
