<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform end fixing treatment of a trim cover into excellent appearance, to enhance mounting strength and to mount the trim cover using a low-cost member. <P>SOLUTION: The trim cover is formed by putting two cover members 1, 2 one on top of the other. A strip support plate 3 is mounted along the end of the first cover member 1 in a longitudinal direction, and a plurality of tongue-shaped pieces 4a, 4b with the tip side facing the inside of a cover surface are mounted along the end of the second cover 2 facing the first cover member 1 on the base part side. Several parts spaced from both ends and a center portion of a support plate 3 are fixed to the surface of a vehicle interior component S by fasteners 5 mounted to a frame of the vehicle interior component S, and the tongue-shaped pieces 4a, 4b are inserted in clearances between the non-fixed parts of the support plate 3 and the surface of the vehicle interior component S to fix the end of the trim cover onto the surface of equipment in a vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
