PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a patterning molding which can achieve a desired color tone by the use of a little coloring agent, and moreover which maintains its beautiful pattern at low cost over a long period of time by peeling off no part which constitutes the color pattern, and to provide the patterning molding obtained thereby. SOLUTION: A coloring undercoating layer 4, a vapor deposition layer 5, and a top coating layer 6 are formed in this order on a base body 3, then the layer except the coloring undercoating layer 4 of a plurality of the layers formed on the base body 3 is partially removed by a laser irradiation.
