<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly communication device that facilitates recognition of the location of a set item for a function desired by a user for use. <P>SOLUTION: In execution of a function by one function execution means existing among a plurality of function execution means, setting input screen positional information to specify a setting input screen equipped with the set item requiring input, and content information including text information explaining descriptions of the function to be carried out by the one function execution means are acquired. The text information included in the acquired content information is displayed.
