COMPRESSED IMAGE NOISE REMOVING DEVICE, AND REPRODUCING DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressed image noise removing device, capable of reproducing a digital compressed image with high picture quality.

SOLUTION: The compressed image noise removing device extends a digital compression data having been compressed by using prediction about quantization and data different in time and space, and removes noise generated by the quantization. The data whose noise is to be removed are subjected to noise removal using the data used as prediction upon compression.
