PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine allowing a player to select a presentation of the play by easy operation and to effectively use the operation function of an operating part. SOLUTION: The game machine includes a control means, the operating part, and an announcing part. The control means includes: a selection screen display means capable of displaying a selection screen for selecting one of a plurality of presentation characters based on the input of an operation signal while a variable display game is not executed; a selected state display means for displaying the state in which different presentation characters are selected whenever operation signals are input; a character fixing means for fixing the presentation character displayed in the state selected by the selected state display means; a variable display game executing means for executing a variable display game in a display means; a presentation content determining means for determining the content of presentation in the variable display game based on the fixed presentation character; and an expectancy degree announcing means capable of announcing the degree of expectancy for a specific result of the variable display game by the announcing part based on the input of an operation signal while the variable display game is executed.
