<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a permanent magnet in which heat resistance and a magnetic characteristic can be effectively improved without increasing cost. <P>SOLUTION: An insulating film composed of at least one of fullerene or chemically modified fullerene is formed on a boundary surface of magnetic powder containing rare earth, molding or density growth is performed on the magnetic powder in a magnetic field to obtain a primary compact, sintering or plastic working is performed on the primary compact to obtain a secondary compact, and then heat treatment is performed on the secondary compact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
