PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents reproduction device and so forth, which can achieve digest reproduction according to a remaining time of a moving process with low cost and easy operation even from the middle of the moving process. SOLUTION: A contents reproduction device has a means for acquiring a moving speed based on relations of a time and a position, prepares a usage history of a means of transportation of a user based on time, a position and a moving speed, and if contents reproduction is performed in the middle of a moving process by the means of transportation, then the time of completion of the moving by the means of transportation is predicted with referring to the usage history and digest reproduction is performed according to the remaining time of the moving process by the means of transportation.
