<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent information leakage due to the erroneous transmission of electronic mail while reducing a load on the transmitter of electronic mail as far as possible in an electronic mail distribution system. <P>SOLUTION: Whether or not the domain name of a mail address designated as the transmission destination of an electronic mail and an organization name described as a destination in a mail text are correctly made to correspond to each other is determined. When it is determined that both the domain name and the organization name are correctly made to correspond to each other, the distribution of electronic mail is executed, and when it is determined that both the domain name and the organization name are not correctly made to correspond to each other, the distribution of the electronic mail is stopped. Thus, it is possible to instantaneously transmit the electronic mail which includes no risk of erroneous transmission without making a transmitter confirm it.
