摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display medium, a writing device and a display device excellent in light resistance. SOLUTION: In the display medium 12, a second light absorption layer 34 is formed at the opposite side of a photoconductive layer 20 of a second electrode 22. That is, the second light absorption layer 34 is formed upstream in the emission direction of the writing of the photoconductive layer 20 of the display medium 12. The second light absorption layer 34 allows the writing light to permeate it, and has the light shading performance of an absorbance of 1 or larger for all wavelength regions of 300-550 nm. Thereby, similar to fluorescent light, the arrival of the light of wavelengths not used for writing from the non-display side to the photoconductive layer 20 can be suppressed, and the deterioration of light of the photoconductive layer 20 caused by external light can be suppressed.
