PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorber which reduces a cleaning work load and effectively uses an acoustic material. SOLUTION: The sound absorber 10 includes: the acoustic material 1 with sound absorbing characteristics, which stretches to a predetermined axis direction; a covering material 2 for covering an outer side face which stretches to the predetermined axis direction of the acoustic material 1; and a pair of side lids 4a and 4b, respectively provided on both edge faces which stretch to a crossing direction of the predetermined axis direction of the acoustic material 1. A connection 3 by which the covering material 2 is freely removable from the acoustic material 1, is provided in the covering material 2. Thereby, comparing with the case that a sound absorber which is degraded over time is replaced with a new one, the cleaning work load is reduced. The sound absorbing can be continuously used by replacing the covering material 2, thereby the acoustic material 1 is effectively used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
