PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel apparatus and a novel method for arranging a work which can arrange the work simply in a short time while controlling cost and have wide applicability. SOLUTION: The method of arranging arranges a mold M by pulling down a suspended mold M to a base surface 1f on which a platen 2 is erected so that the side surface F<SB>2</SB>of the mold M is nearly in parallel with the side surface 2f of the platen. The mold M is suspended with the lower-end surface F<SB>1</SB>of the mold M is inclined so as to be separated from the side surface 2f of the platen. A roller member 11 is arranged at a position closer to the side of the platen 2 than the position directly at the center of gravity O<SB>M</SB>in a state that the mold M is suspended between the base surface 1f and the mold M, and the lower-end surface F<SB>1</SB>is brought into contact with the roller member 11 as the mold M descends. The mold M is guided by the roller member 11 to bring the mold M close to the side surface 2f of the platen so that both the side surfaces F<SB>2</SB>and 2f are nearly in parallel with each other.
