<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual transmission comprising an input shaft to which a driving force from an engine is input, a first and second counter shafts disposed parallel to the input shaft, a plurality of gear trains provided between the input shaft and the first and second counter shafts and first and second differential driving gears respectively fixed to these counter gears to drive differential ring gears on the drive shaft, wherein the dimension in the axial direction can further be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A gear train G1 for a first speed stage, a gear train G4 for predetermined forward speed stages and a gear train GR for rearward speed stages are sequentially disposed in this order from an engine 2 side. A synchronizer 57 for rearward speed stages, which connects the first driven gear 47A of the gear train GR for rearward speed stages with the driven gear 41 of the gear train G1 for the first speed stage when the shift lever is shifted to a rear speed, is arranged between the first driven gear 47A of the gear train GR for rearward speed stages on a first counter shaft 11 and the driven gear 41 of the gear train G1 for the first speed stage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
