PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module capable of correcting the deviation of an optical axis simply after joining optical components, and to provide a manufacturing method for the optical module. SOLUTION: The optical module 10 includes the optical components 20, pedestals 31, 32 on which the optical components 20 are fixed, and a case body 40 on which the pedestals 31, 32 are fixed.
