PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor for reducing water attached to gas detection elements. SOLUTION: The gas sensor includes: a gas detection chamber 25 formed within a cylindrical housing 20; a base section 30 for closing an opening over the housing 20 in the vertical direction; the gas detection elements 40, 40 fixed to the base section 30, and positioned under the base section 30 in the vertical direction; a gas introduction port 24 for introducing a to-be-inspected gas to the gas detection chamber 25; and a dew condensation water guide member 50A for downwardly guiding the water condensed in the base section 30 from the base section 30 in the vertical direction. The dew condensation water guide member 50A comprises a cylindrical body 51 and is composed so as to keep the lower end of the cylindrical body 51 positioned under the gas detection element 40 in the vertical direction.
