A toothbrush head comprises a bristle holder having an attachment section attached to a handpiece, and drive coupling the bristle holder to a drive arranged on a handpiece. A clamp is provided on a rigid attachment section. When the bristle holder is joined to the handpiece of the toothbrush, the clamp is engaged with a lock or assures a clamping or frictional connection of brush head holder with the handpiece (1).
