FIELD: printing industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of books and may be used to make notebooks, writing pads, etc. Method of binding consists in the fact that a stack and a cover are made, and cover is fixed on pile. Slots are made at stack spine with thickness of 0.8-1.2 mm, half of which has an angle of incline to spine of 70-80, and the other half - 100-110. Cover is made with holes arranged opposite to slots in stack spine and located along line of cover folds. Arranged book is placed into die of injection-moulding machine, and slots in stack and holes in cover are filled with elastic resilient plastic. ^ EFFECT: invention provides for improved operational quality of binding and reduced labour intensiveness in its manufacturing. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg |
