METHOD FOR REDUGING ASH OF ANTHRACITE AND FABRICATING METHOD OF ACTIVATED CARBON USING ANTHRACITE MANUFACTURED BY THE SAME METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for lowering the ashes of anthracite and a fabricating method of activated carbon using anthracite manufactured by the method are provided to remarkably reducing the concentration of ashes of anthracite by selecting the anthracite through a sand separator. CONSTITUTION: A method for lowering the ashes of anthracite comprises the steps of: crushing anthracite into 4 x 8 Mesh or8 x 20 Mesh particles; selecting the particles of which diameter is lower than 1.5 g/cm^2 from the crushed particles; stirring the crushed anthracite with phosphoric acid and water at 90°C for 2 hours; and drying the anthracite at 150°C for 1-2 hours.
