FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: spark (1) plug for internal combustion engine of automobile is essentially of cylindrical shape and includes mainly lower capacitance part (C) with two coaxial electrodes, and namely central electrode (3) and external electrode in the form of basement (2) enveloping central electrode (3), and electrically insulating unit made in the form of insulator (4) and installed between central electrode (3) and basement (2), as well as mainly upper inductive part (1) containing the following: central pin (8) enveloped with winding (5) the lower end part (57) of which envelops upper end part (31) of central electrode (3), as well as external casing (6), and insulator (7) radially installed between casing (6) and winding (5). According to this invention, upper end part (31) of central electrode (3) includes coating (9) from material which has specific electrical conductivity exceeding the specific electrical conductivity of material of central electrode (3), and does not have any ferromagnetic properties. ^ EFFECT: decreasing dissipation of electromagnetic energy owing to Foucault currents in central electrode and increasing the coefficient of resonant amplification of voltage. ^ 3 cl, 3 dwg |
