PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of accurately and securely executing a power-failure process and stopping functions. SOLUTION: The game machine has a reset information control means for making reset information for stopping the operation of a game control device and a discharge control device active at the same time for the game control device and discharge control device after the elapse of a period sufficient for the game control device and discharge control device to execute the power-failure process since power-failure detection information becomes active. A power-failure detecting means has a function of returning the power-failure detection information for the game control device and discharge control device at the same time after the elapse of a prescribed period for stabilizing the power-supply voltage since exceeding the power-failure recovery voltage if the power supply is reloaded. The reset information control means has a function of returning the reset information, if the power-failure detection information is returned to be inactive, to be inactive thereafter. The game machine also has an ornament control device. The ornament control device prohibits game control information from being stored or retained when power failure occurs, and is activated before the reset information for the game control device or discharge control device is returned to be inactive if the power supply is reloaded.
