<p>A display device which is free of abnormal operation even when a shift in threshold voltage occurs in transistors forming a shift register. Bistable circuits are each provided with: an output terminal (49) which outputs a state signal; a thin-film transistor (T1), the drain terminal of which is imparted with a clock signal and the source terminal of which is connected to the output terminal (49); a thin-film transistor (T2) for charging a region net A connected to the gate terminal of the thin-film transistor (T1); a thin-film transistor (T3), the drain terminal of which is connected to the net A; a thin-film transistor (T4), the drain terminal of which is connected to the output terminal (49); and a second node potential control unit which detects the higher threshold voltage among the threshold voltages of the thin-film transistors (T3, T4), and based on that threshold voltage, sets the potential of a region net B connected to the gate terminals of the thin-film transistors (T3, T4) to a comparatively low level potential and a comparatively high level potential.</p> |
