<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article transport facility capable of improving transport capacity by quickly transporting an article, without complicating a constitution, and without increasing cost. <P>SOLUTION: As a travel path S, one end part is connected to a sub-path 21 arranged on one side to a main path 20, and the other end part is connected to the sub-path 21 arranged on the other side to the main path 20. An inter-sub connecting path 27 having a midway part crossing the main path 20 is arranged separately from a connecting path.
