PURPOSE: A polycyclic aromatic compound, an organic electric device using thereof, and a terminal thereof are provided to offer the high color purity of the compound, and to improve the luminescent brightness. CONSTITUTION: A polycyclic aromatic compound is marked with chemical formula 1 or chemical formula 2. In the chemical formulas, R1 and R3 are independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group, an alkoxy group, a thiol group, a substituted or non-substituted C1~C50 alkyl group, a substituted or non-substituted C1~C50 alkoxy group, a substituted or non-substituted C5~C60 aryl group, a substituted or non-substituted C5~C60 aryloxy group, and other compounds.
