<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system (100) and a method (210) for functional ultrasound imaging. <P>SOLUTION: The method (210) includes a step for acquiring an ultrasound image data acquired from a multi-plane imaging scan of an object for image-formation (212). The ultrasound image data defines a plurality of image planes.
