<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide insulator coating soft magnetic powder, where the surface is coated with an insulator and a dust core having small eddy current loss over a long time can be manufactured, to provide a low-loss magnetic core manufactured by the powder, and to provide a low-loss magnetic element which has the dust core. <P>SOLUTION: A compound particle 1 includes a granular core section 2 constituted of a soft magnetic material, and a coating layer 3 constituted of an insulating material so provided as to cover the core section 2. The coating layer 3 is formed, by mechanically sticking a particle of an insulating material having a diameter smaller than that of the core section 2 to the core section 2. Also, in the core section 2, the average value of the circularity (circumference of a true circle having area equal to that of a projection image of the core section 2/circumference of a projection image of the core section 2) of the projection image is in a range of 0.8 to 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
