PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endotoxin decomposition device which can maintain high endotoxin decomposition performance for a long period of time, a purified water production system equipped with the decomposition device, a system of producing purified water for artificial dialysis, and a method of decomposing endotoxin. SOLUTION: The purified water production system includes a prefilter for removing at least suspended solids from water to be treated, a residual chlorine removal device for removing residual chlorine from the water to be treated, and a water softener for removing hardness components from the water to be treated, the endotoxin decomposition device D, and a reverse osmosis membrane device for removing at least fine particles from the water to be treated. The endotoxin decomposition device D is provided with a fluid tank 10 for making the water to be treated flow in one direction, a flat nonwoven fabric comprising photocatalytic fibers containing titanium oxide in their surfaces, and an ultraviolet irradiation means 30 having a shape extending in the longitudinal direction and capable of irradiating the material with ultraviolet rays having peak wavelengths of 185 nm and 254 nm.
