PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold release film which is excellent in process suitability of dimension change rate under a heat tension during manufacturing a ceramic sheet, is excellent in heat shrinking balance in drying ceramic slurry, is excellent in thickness unevenness, and sufficiently meets the performance required as the mold release film for manufacturing ceramic sheet. SOLUTION: The mold release film has a specific degree of elongation under a specific load and a specific degree of thermal elongation under no load, and keeps the thickness unevenness in the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction in a specific numerical range.
