PURPOSE: A method for determining a location of a user device in a wireless mobile communication system and a device therefor are provided to reduce the amount of calculation when a correlation value of received signals is calculated to determine a location of the user device, thereby increasing performance of the user device. CONSTITUTION: A wireless mobile communication system receives a sub frame for determining a location of UE including a reference signal at a fixed cycle from base stations. The system determines the location of the user device through a time difference between reference signals for determining the location of the user device in the sub frames. At least one pair of sequences of the reference signal are in complex conjugate relation.
