PURPOSE: An energy saving operating device for an automatic door and an automatic door using the same are provided to prevent an automatic door from being maximally opened and to reduce thermal energy. CONSTITUTION: An energy saving operating device for an automatic door comprises a sensor unit, a control unit, a drive unit. The sensor unit senses the movement of an object(7) located in front of an automatic door(1,2). The control unit analyzes the object entering into the automatic door and provides an order for opening the automatic door depending on the width of the object. The drive unit receives the order from the control unit and opens the automatic door. |
