PURPOSE: An electric connector for a printed circuit board is provided to easily mount a shield plate at a housing by preventing the stress occurring on the shield plate. CONSTITUTION: An insulation housing(10) includes a terminal group, and the terminal group comprises metallic signal terminals and metal ground terminals(30) having a movable arm. The movable arm is extended in the insertion or extraction direction of a parallel conductor. A movable member(40) moves from an opening position at which the parallel conductor is inserted into an opening to a closing position at which the voltages of the parallel conductor and the terminal group are increased. A shield plate(50) is mounted at the housing to cover at least some portion of the housing over the terminal arrangement range.
