PURPOSE: A device and a method for feeding gas are provided to secure work safety by performing a gas feeding work and a container washing work. CONSTITUTION: A device(1) for feeding gas comprises a gas injection part(10), a vacuum generator(20), a gas feeding part(30), an operation controller(70), and a flow rate controller(40). The gas injection part is coupled to a high-pressure container for feeding gas. The vacuum generator eliminates residual gas in the container. The gas feeding part supplies the gas to the container. The operation controller controls the operation of the vacuum generator and the gas feeding part. The flow rate controller controls a flow rate of the gas supplied from the gas feeding part.
