The invention relates to a deployable divergent nozzle (2) for a propulsive unit, comprising: a first stationary divergent nozzle portion (3) connectable to a stationary bracket of the propulsive unit (1); a second divergent nozzle portion (4) mobile between a retracted position and a deployed position in which it is connected to the upstream end of the first divergent nozzle portion (3) so as to extend the divergent nozzle (3); and a deploying mechanism (6, 8) comprising a means (6) for moving the second mobile divergent nozzle portion (4) relative to the first stationary divergent nozzle portion (3) for deploying the second mobile divergent nozzle portion (4) from the retracted position thereof to the deployed position thereof, characterized in that it includes at least one damping means (13) for damping the vibrations of the second mobile divergent nozzle portion (4) and/or of the deploying mechanism (6, 8).
