PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suck and position an electronic component with high precision without lowering the production efficiency of a surface mounting component mounting machine. SOLUTION: Installation position information on a feeder bank 10 installed in the surface mounting component mounting machine 90 is acquired from one reference mark 22 through a single recognizing operation, and suction position deviation information for the design value of a plurality of feeders 30 installed in the feeder bank 10 is also acquired through the single recognizing operation from a two-dimensional bar code 26 provided within a recognition visual field for the reference mark 22.
